Did you notice on the Australian CD of Who Made Who that the downbeat of the title track (track 1) is missing?

And let me return to the topic at hand: what I like most about the newest remaster of Gaucho is how the "punch-in" dropouts in "Time Out of Mind" that were so painfully obvious in previous releases have been cleaned up considerably.

Kym, haven't noticed those dropouts that you mentioned in previous gaucho versions - will check it out.

I read somewhere a while back that "Aja" tapes were showing their age, and had dropouts. I did notice a brief dropout in the first few seconds of Black Cow in the new remaster, but didn't bother to listen for more. If they are there, they're pretty minor, and don't interfere with my enjoyment of the music.

Which remasters are the best? Can you give me a code number or a link?

None. Original MCAs including our host's Aja and Katie Lied. Job done. :uhhuh:
