    • mark the CD edges?
    • treat the optical surface with polishing fluid?
    • discharge / deguass CDs?
    • use CD mats?

    I have a Sony SCD-XA777ES SACD Player and I use a Dan Wright modded Perpetual Technologies P-3A DAC for Redbook CD's.

    The XA777ES makes a killer transport and the PT DAC is just a little wider, deeper, and cleaner than the parallel DAC's in the XA777ES for Redbook.

    On SACD though the XA777ES is a Monster!. Just awesome!
