  1. With all the SACD and DVD-A listening I've done over the last 5 or so years
    I'm guessing that DSD must make the signal sound "hotter"
    or subtly more aggressive (or chirpy) than the mic/tape source.

    I must say I love hi-bitrate pcm.
    And, some of my SACDs give me almost as much pleasure.
     
  2. Have you ever heard a recording that was directly made in DSD and then released as a SACD? It blows away any PCM sound I have ever heard...PCM can sound great though.

    Agreed. There is NO comparison in imo. DSD is magnificent, it's not vinyl but it's the best digital I've heard.
