This relates to my previous thread concerning a cartridge replacement for a Realistic LAB 390 turntable I just acquired. Upon a closer look, it apppears as if the stylus on the existing R47 EDT cartridge is actually removable. Before I try anything and cause damage, does anyone know if this is so? And if it is, rather than replace the entire cartridge, can anyone recommend a suitable replacement stylus? As always, any help is much appreciated.

Contact turntableneedles.com and look up replacement styli for that cart. You might be ahead replacing the cart altogether.

Best thing going now is the new .3x.7 nude elipticals. For under $50 bucks your not going to do better!
