Stylus Retipping Service (phono cartridge) - specialist from Russia, Moscow

Hello forum,
I would like to introduce myself as a new member.
My name is Norbert and I live in Giessen - Germany.
I am 65 years old and have been a programmer for 40 years - now I am retired and have time
In my free time I do bonsai and in winter I tinker with electronics - tube technology, repair defective pickups, listen to records and drink red wine or whiskey

I did a long search for information on the internet regarding retipping until I came across the forum. I read the thread with great interest and am amazed how the interests of some people in the world are alike.
Not to be bored - I lack material (cantilever and decent needles)?
So I contacted Fa NAMIKI.
Mr. Yoneyama answered me very quickly and was very polite.
After I asked him for an offer for 10 pieces Cantilewer with MR needle there is silence in the correspondence
Now I know why - you keep talking to each other from 100 pieces

I'm glad I came across the forum and the Warren campaign.
Warren - if possible I would participate with 10 pieces?

Kudos to Roman. His work is masterful.

ANYONE ON THIS THREAD KNOW HOW TO VIEW THE IMAGES?

 

The images are hosted on a Russian image hosting site. A web site that ends with a .ru domain.

You may have security software installed on your computer that is blocking the site. Or there may be a firewall setting that is blocking the site. Or the network admin for the network you're using may be blocking the site because of the .ru address.

How to get around that depends on why it is being blocked.
You could use a computer that doesn't have all the security software installed.
Could use another network, like the wi-fi at a coffee shop, to see the images if your network admin is blocking them.

 

Thank you for the information. By the way, does anyone know if there was an Audio Technica AT-OC9technical drawing/illustration posted on this forum? I saw it a week ago but cannot recall which forum it was posted on.

Thanks a lot for your kind words about my work, I'm still doing my thing, still got a lot of orders for repair.
Unfortunately I don't even have enough time to upload my latest works and I'm almost stopped checking this thread.
But I'm checking my main mailbox every day for sure.

I will do my best to reply as soon as possible or ask my partner to reply instead of me, he got the same repair skills and live in Russia too.

Unfortunately our lovely friend Warren passed away last year, may he rest in peace!

p.s. I hope one day I will make a return to this thread with a lot new pictures of repaired cartridges and more useful information.
