yiiiaaah!!! my second sub got delivered a day early.
    can i...
    a) use a y-splitter to feed both from the pre which one connection?

    b) can i use a splitter from the pre to each sub then use another splitter to feed the subs l/r inputs.

c)or just use one lead from each leg of the splitter to each sub?

still working on my mini in. can i use a mini 2x4 with both subs?

    thanks as always.

If the pre puts out a mono sub signal, usually there is no need to feed a sub's L and R inputs both. Check the owner's manuals.

If the pre is putting out separate L and R sub signals, I'd want to run both to the sub. But you didn't mention doing that at all.

I expect that any sub's line-level input will have high enough impedance that you can use a splitter to feed two subs with no problem.

I'm not sure what a "mini 2x4" is, but if it's a miniDSP unit, I would want to use it for both subs, not just one.

    Have fun!

Are you driving them with the JBL preamp?
It has multiple sub outs (4) L and R each.
    Rear, side, center, front

Maybe that can be set up to put out the same signal?

ill have to look in to that.
it does have those outs but i didnt think about using it as a sub out. there is a dedicated mono sub out.

Nice! But it would help if you told us the brand and model number ;)
Y-cable from mono out, to each sub. Then if you're messing with miniDSP you should get the room correction, and maybe use those other taps so you can EQ each sub separately.
