You know, I was born in the 70’s, a kid in the 80’s, teen in the 90’s, etc and I feel like this is an alien world from those times. I can’t imagine what people my parents age must think of the world today having actually lived, worked and partied during the 70’s. No internet, no 24/7 news cycle, no risk of aids, uncompressed music, everything was built solid and to last.... what the heck happened?!?!?!

 

There will always be a few who venture down a certain fashion path, but for the most part, no. Men did not wear this kind of stuff.
Big collars? Yes.
Leisure suits? Yes.
Longish hair with full mustache? Yes.
Pastel colors, silks, and rayons? Yes.
Bell bottom jeans and trousers? Yes.
