I just grabbed the two Lovin’ Spoonful mono LPS from the sale. Just as an FYI it definitely does give free shipping but you won’t see it as free until you are checking out.

Thanks again for the heads up @aoxomoxoa!

Limited titles on sale. Not on everything or all vinyl. And the sale is on their retail price, not general going price.

    Still, good deal.

I'm just trying to figure out which titles to buy. I want to be judicious, given my budget. For many of these albums, I may know a single or two off the album, but not the whole album.

One album I'm considering is the Bo Diddley's Beach Party. Probably a great listen for the music, but the crappy sound makes it likely something I won't listen to too often.

They do let you preview all the tracks right there on the shopping site. I REALLY appreciate that!

So, you're saying you had the pick of The Litter as well as of The Remains??

Lots of the usual stuff they try to get rid of, but they added the white vinyl Remains and that's good enough for me.

The Tandyn Almer album is very enjoyable, by the way (Got it on a previous sale). Almer himself isn't on the record, it's all publishing demos, but some very good songs.

I never got to any of his solo LPs, are they recommended? If yes then will probably get all of them at that price. Thanks !

Not a solo act, it was the first version of the band with original lead singer Paul Jones. Very much an early British r&b/pop hybrid thing — you probably know their huge hit “Doo Wah Diddy.”

Great stuff. I’m likely going to go buy them later tonight...

Listened to 1 side. Great stuff! Lots of blues and R+B covers. If that's your thing you'll probably dig it.

If you look at their new releases page, they definitely still do CDs.
