I think it was the Phantom Power tour when they did TMDGAF as an encore dressed as yetis. I’m not really sure, though.

Speculation aside, I would really love a vinyl reissue of Guerrilla!

Well, now that all 5 images are out there, we shouldn't have to wait much longer.

    From Dork Magazine...

    Super Furry Animals
have announced a new deluxe vinyl boxset, ‘Super Furry Animals at the BBC’.

The release will be available from 23rd November, as a heavyweight 180g vinyl four-disc box set, an even-more-limited vinyl five-disc set, CD and download. Pre-orders go up on 12th October via www.pledgemusic.com/superfurryanimals.

It covers eight sessions recorded especially for BBC Radio One, including one unreleased song. The CD and digital versions will also include three tracks from their 1999 Cardiff Indoor Arena gig.

“The five, excitable kids of the Super Furry Animals saw many wonders of the modern world through our innocent eyes, but finding ourselves playing songs in John Peel’s home, or in the carpeted muffle of Maida Vale, elevated the experience to new levels,” the group explain.

“Our thanks go to those rescuing the recordings from our dusty lofts, Kliph Scurlock and Donal Whelan, and the surgical attention to detail by the great artistic minds of Mark James and Pete Fowler. Also, long live public broadcasting.”

I'm psyched for this, but 400 copies of the 4xLP set and only 100 of the 5xLP set seems too limited.

As I recall, previous SFA Pledgemusic campaigns were not available to order from the US.
    Am I remembering correctly?

I'm pretty sure I ordered my copies of Fuzzy Logic via the PledgeMusic campaign.

I think you can order it. It'll just be super expensive. Only 100 copies of the really limited edition vinyl, but if it sells you won't see a copy for a fair price for years. Might as well put in a order. The package looks gorgeous.

Scored me a copy of Phantom Power on vinyl today at my local record shop for €40! It was very dusty, but after a good spin clean it plays dead quiet (so far, there are some scuff marks on sides b and c) and the sleeve is NM. I am well chuffed :righton:

    New to this thread.

Just got my Mwng deluxe box in the house and now this!?!?

Looks pricey this BBC thing, but will be hard to pass over, but then I almost forked out 80 euros for Love Kraft the other day.

Anyone know if they plan reissues of Love Kraft, Phantom Power and Rings?

Almost missed the boat with the 4 disc set. I wish they would sign it, too.

Well, I don't really need the manky yeti fur, so it will be the CDs for me. I will just have to trust then to do a good mastering job on this.
