I'm disappointed to see that it doesn't just take a third off the total price. My potential order of 15 items is only discounting about 28%. I guess I have to play around with it.
I was able to include a vinyl pre-order with one of my orders so that's working, at least earlier this morning it was.
Three items of the same price, it’ll be 1/3 off. Diffferent priced items, only the cheapest comes off which means a lower percentage discount.
Ended up grabbing 8 Prince cds and the newest cd from Seth MacFarlane (which i already had on vinyl. Came out to $7.52 a piece, happy with that.
I bought about five orders worth of stuff last time they had this sale but this time I'm also not finding much that I want. I'm thinking about the Acoustic Sounds series Louis & Ella because it's been hard to find the newer titles in that series for less than retail but I'm not coming up with much else to add to it. I saw that the 2012 stereo of Revolver is down to about $18, definitely worth it for the $12 if anyone doesn't have it.
I scrolled through 19 pages of preorders and AFAICT, all are available under the sale terms. That being said, no Blue Notes were listed in the preorder section.
I ended up with: Ella & Louis Neil Young - Harvest (May cancel if I find out this isn't the recent AAA pressing, anyone know?) Lou Reed - Words And Music. It was $33 shipped for this from LITA, so yeah I'll take it for $23 with free shipping please. Very slim pickins this time though. I usually have several orders worth each one of these sales. Hardly any Blue note in stock which is what I tend to go for since the TPs are $40 now, a bit too expensive for me to buy them at full price, but I didn't see a single one I wanted. I have a few coming up as preorders but of course those haven't been added to the site yet it seems.
If any of you didn't get the Muddy Waters One Step when it was still available through Musicdirect, it's actually included in this Target sale. So is the Electric Light Orchestra Eldorado Supervinyl.
