In an interesting turn of events target has canceled my last 2 orders and I am unable to reorder. Looks like I got flagged. Oh well. I spent enough money. Maybe they do care ? Anyone else having problems?
I wonder if it is old stock that PopMarket dug up. It was definitely hard to come by for awhile there. Still a great deal at 120ish if you can find another two items to, um, buy.
Looks like my account has been put on hold because of all the cancelations. I have to admit I went overboard and bought too many things and went back and canceled some pre orders as well as several things that I had canceled on the single orders so we'll see what happens
No. I placed 2 orders last night before I went to bed and I woke up this morning to see that they were automatically canceled. This was after I had went through and canceled some other orders that I decided I did not need. I think over the past few days I have placed a couple dozen orders and canceled quite a few of them so I must have flagged something in the system. At this point most of my earlier orders are still intact and I really don't need anything else now anyway. The lady I spoke with from overseas about it the problem said she would escalate the problem to their IT and I should be able to use the account in 24 hours period of course by that time the sale I think is over. I'm not sure who flagged me the credit card company or targets website? They didn't seem to know either. Since I have my target redcard linked up with my account to get the extra discount I didn't try using another card but I think it was the credit card company who flagged me.
Target has been known to ban accounts for too many orders or those with suspect activity. I’ve seen people say the ban was never lifted either, but hopefully not the result in your case. If your credit card was limiting your ability to order you would get an alert from them, not the retailer.
It will be interesting to see how this unfolds. If they do ban me no big deal there's plenty of other places to buy records.
Thinking of trying the buy 3 cancel 2 trick on the Petty Fillmore box set, which is about $175. How soon can I cancel the other two? It's a rather big purchase if it doesn't work!
I still think the "order 3 and cancel 2" thing is sleazy, but I nonetheless like that turn of phrase!

Awesome. Going to be hard to beat $138.53! Also, big LOL at this being "sleazy." Target could prevent it if they cared. Also, Target is worth $70B+ to put this $35 savings into perspective.
yikes. it must be the flurry of cancelations that you made? i can see how that would make the red card issuer upset given all of the holds that get placed.
Any MoFi SACDs on target? I searched Eagles and found none - unless they're buried somewhere I couldn't find them.
