I'm hoping the surprise song at my show is either Right Where You Left Me or The Lakes (since Cowboy Like Me is already taken )
I’m a little worried she’s going to burn through all the folklore and evermore surprise songs before she gets here. But maybe that leaves room for some 3AM tracks
Despite her "I will play whatever hits me" proclamation about the surprise songs, I am sure she has a plan in place to spread certain songs out over the course of the whole tour. With this weekend being the first city with three shows, it will be interesting to see how that plays out.
It is interesting how the comparably low key and classic Broadway like set design from ground floor transforms into something entirely different on the big screens. Incredibly well done. It is also nice to see how one of my favourites from the Midnights project (a no nonsense backing track and great lyrics), Vigilante **** makes the rounds on social media again. The concert version is brilliant with its nod to Chicago.
I truly think this is why she stays away from speak now & the 1st album so much ............. that was my theory when i saw what she was doing . cool she has SEVEN albums in the top 40 right now Taylor Swift Has 7 Albums in the Billboard 200’s Top 40 At Same Time – Billboard
It seems like for a while now, Speak Now is always the lowest ranked of her albums on the album charts (aside from the debut, which often isn't ranked at all), and I am guessing the Spotify/streaming numbers bare this out, which I am sure Taylor is well aware of, so I am sure she is thinking the debut and Speak Now are currently her least favorites with the masses, hence they got the least representation in the current set.
Highly possible , you never know with Taylor ....we all know how clever she is . I LOVE speak now , for the longest time it was my favorite of hers i'm looking forward to the TV release and what will be the bonus tracks .
Speak Now is a 5 star record. I believe we will hear plenty of tracks from Speak Now and the debut in the surprise segment. There’s not much from Fearless (the title track is in a sense a statement song) either, except the mega hits that propelled her into mainstream superstar status
I’ll always love Speak Now, it was the first album that came out after I became a fan. I couldn’t wait for it. It went way beyond my expectations. I listened to it every day for like 6 months
Yep, I saw that on Twitter. I have a feeling she will find a way to play every song from Folklore over the course of the tour.
RapHub (@raphubtv) is LIVE | TikTok just get TT app and search Taylor Swift then click live. Plenty to choose from and they go in and out. also pro tip. Hold the screen and click clear display.
I actually prefer the Folklore song that was swapped out last night over the way that got swapped in, but I love seeing that she will make changes like this on the fly. And last night's surprise songs...OMG. One of my top 10 Taylor songs + a Speak Now (sort of) song!!
That piano number from last night was probably the best performed of all so far. At least that I’ve seen.
So cool to read this on the HiFi Sean and David McAlmont Facebook page! Amazing news Taylor Swift is covering ‘The Skin I’m In’ from our album. Wow ! Taylor seems to be this generation’s Elton John with her love of other musicians!
Have any tickets ever become available through Ticketmaster as shows approach? Every time I look at TM, I see a flat "sorry, tickets no available online" message.
So what do we have this far Debut: Tim McGraw, Our Song Fearless: White Horse Speak Now: Ours Red: State Of Grace, Sad Beautiful Tragic 1989: Reputation: Lover: Folklore, Mirrorball, This Is Me Trying Evermore: Cowboy Like Me (with Marcus Mumford) Midnights: Snow On The Beach The Vault:
StubHub is the place to go. Not saying you are gonna find them cheap, but that seems to be where most are getting sold close to the show dates.
The Glendale shows were not sold by Ticketmaster but sold by SeatGeek (as were a few shows on the tour) and they rolled out a few last minute on sales to verified fans before the shows and I think a couple general on sales. I think I saw some posts that there was an onsale in the days before Vegas. It’s worth keeping an eye to Twitter (Eras tour accounts made by fans) or TM in the days before a local show. That being said it’s not a guarantee.
