Which may be because it was not intended as a b-side, and not used as one either.

Thought about that after I posted. Wasn't sure if CD-Singles were still including unreleased tracks or if CD-Singles were even still a thing at the time of the albums release.

Today’s song is “Out Of Control”

A very mellow yet poignant track. I’m feeling 3.5/5

Haven’t heard the last 2 tracks in a while. Rest of album is solid 4/5.

Haven't heard most of the rest of the tracks at all.
The two bonus tracks on the U.K/ EU edition not much.
Because of the mastering I don't listen to it that much.

The whole album is a shaky 4/5.
It's my least favourite Tears for Fears album.
Perhaps it's not fair because some of that is down to the bad mastering.
A better mastering would bring out some of the beauty and brilliance of the songs better.
But still I find a lot of the songs a bit too sweet and alike.

The two ballads by Curt are a bit of a dissapointment.
On one hand I expected a bit more of his return.
But on the other, on songs like "Quiet Ones" I get shivers down the spine, and I am just glad he is back.
And even tho I still have my problems with the album, like they sounding a bit like other bands and generic at times.
At the end of the day it is a "Tears for Fears" album, with some great highlights and welcome additions to their work.

Today’s song is “Floating Down The River”

I hadn’t heard this song before. Man it’s awesome! Better than most of the tracks on ELAHE in my opinion. That chorus is killer! 5/5

Hands down, Floating Down The River is all that ELAHE shouldve been. Extrapolating, developing the Beatles influences from TSOL into something else, while adding pinches of carefree summervibes n irresistible harmonies from the likes of Beach Boys. Its so damn joyous and uplifting, in a way that still feels quirky and lyrically interesting.
Ill surrender to Emils jacuzzi 5/5

    Well said.

I really like "Floating Down The River", it's so much fun. Shares the horns with "I Love You But I'm Lost" (and DD's "Skin Trade"). Was this recorded in isolation? Specifically to be a bonus track with the Secret World live album? I'd like to hear more like this. In fact, I think I like it better than anything on ELAHE. It's a shame this song hasn't gotten more attention. Have they every played it live?

Floating Down the River (Once Again)

Downloaded this a long time ago but for some reason didn't really give it much airtime.

I like it. It certainly seems to be of the same style of tracks like ELAHE and Tangerine.

    4/5

Today’s song is “Ready To Start”

Awesome Arcade Fire cover! Maybe this is a hint of the new direction their sound is going in when they finally release the new album. 4/5

    Ready To Start 3/5

Wish it were actually strings in the beginning instead of a cheesy synthesizer.

    Otherwise, an enjoyable listen

ELAHE is perfect as it is. Floating Down The River is IMO average at best. I'll give it 2.5/5 .

As for Ready To Start, it's a 4/5. Awesome cover.
