Interesting. Glad you're getting one, but that seems not at all within RSD guidelines, whomever the retailer is.

Rough Trade isn't putting any stock online until after RSD is well underway tomorrow (at least according to their website).

 

The only link I'm seeing in this thread is Rough Trade, and it's not for sale there until after RSD. So if you actually receive a CD, congratulations! Please report back here with your success!

I have tried via jpc. They so not seem to have receivwd copies. Yesterday afternoon the status changed from "will be released on June 11" to "ordered from distributor".

 

Despite numerous radio broadcasts and video concerts, this is only the second official live album by Tears For Fears and the first to be released on vinyl. I am hoping to get the CD though.

 

@Duncan Day posted in RSD thread that the cd is showing as preorder for general release on Amazon UK for this fall. None of us should sweat trying to track one down here in US or pay outrageous prices on eBay.

I did grab the 2xLP this morning to enjoy in the meantime.

Nice, thanks for the update! I spotted the vinyl in a “sneak preview “ video clip my local indie posted last night. But it was long gone by the time I went there today a couple hours after opening. Still plenty of $25 U2 “Fire” singles though!

 

I guess I payed too much! Bought a cd copy on discogs from italy for $60 total, the shipping was quite a lot, however it’s coming in 3-5 business days. Bummed I overpayed but excited to get one.

 

They sure love those picture discs, and talk about price gouging the fans.

Ordered the LP from an Italian seller online. Normal price (33€). Hope to receive it soon.

 

CD is already finished at the Rough Trade.. Interesting if there will be any difference between this and September editions.

 

Doubt it. They’re probably all printed and ready to distribute nearer the time.

 

Was able to snag the CD for $21.00CAD shipped from a Canadian indie store for should arrive this week.

 

...just confirming that the RSD vinyl is in fact just a "first" and that it'll be out in regular retail soon enough, correct?

 

If you read back in tgis thread you'll see that the vinyl is exclusive for RSD, the CD is expected and announcwd for general release.

Then got an email saying it shipped the 9th. Tracking has it coming from Germany.

Doesn't make sense because even the website says it'll ship on or after the 12th
