i have a Chance to buy a Technics RS-745U 4-Channel, Quadafonic Reel to Reel made from 1971-1973. This Model is in Japan & the Voltage is 100 Volts 50/60 Cycles. This Model has all the bells & Whistles from 3 Motors to Solonoid Operation, 4 Heads, Auto Reverse, 4 Track. There is no service Manual on it. I have a 100% Mint Condition RS-715US which is built on the same identical Platform. I took another Technics RS-715US Totally Appart for Part’s. I got the 120 Volt Transformer, all Power Assembly Parts, I got the 3 Drive Motors, the 2 Solonoid’s, all Switch’s, Feather Touch Control Assembly, Head Assembly,
Main Drive Pulley, all Springs, & moving Parts, got the Main Front Stainless Steel Front, Main Power Capacitor’s, Circuit Boards, Main Wiring Harness. Should I go forward or not? There is no Sechmatic on it anywhere. I know there is Rust on it!! Can that be cleaned up with Rubbing Alcohol?
I need help on what to do?? I don’t know or if it was ever released in the US?? But will my Parts be able to convert it to 120 Volts? Can rust be cleaned up? Since I got all the Total parts for the RS-715US. So I need some advice on what I should do?

It depends on price and if it works? I’m not sure you stated these very important details.
