Yeah, it is highly unlikely Bob composed the music to DOAM. It was allegedly based on a classical piece Randy was working on.

    I don't doubt that.

See what I mean. Learning new things all the time. I did not know this, about "Speak of the Devil". I thought it came much later.
I know very little about live and best hits and compilation albums at this point.

Now I am super confused. I thought that Brad filled in after Randy died.

Speak Of The Devil was an album that the band did NOT want to do especially Randy.
Read them and find out. It was Bob Daisley and NOT Ozzy who wrote the majority of the first few solo albums

Rudy was there from the time the band was on the road.

Speak of the Devil was only done because Don Arden wanted to stake copyrights on the Sabbath catalog.

The so called “concert” consisted of Ozzy staring at a music stand and reading the lyrics while Sarzo choked back tears and Brad Gillis hung on the best he could

Sharon and Ozzy are proven liars about much of how it all happened and continue to lie to this day

So, they have lied. I don't know of any proof on the matter.
Everyone has their story and none are perfect.
Telling people not to believe the things that Ozzy and Sharon say is quite bold.

Blizzard of Ozz is Ozzy's first solo album. Diary of a Madman is second. Then Randy died.

Then Speak of the Devil came out.

He once said he dropped acid and spent an afternoon talking to a horse. I wouldn't trust him in my kitchen, either.

i guess because of the content and line up, I just guessed it was earlier ... reading about it, it sounds like the straw that broke a few camels backs, what a fiasco

    WRONG!

Blizzard of OZ was a BAND and NOT a solo project. That’s why Bob Daisley worked so hard with Randy to create the Blizzard of Oz album. Ozzy was barely even there

Time for folks to know the TRUTH especially now that Lee Kerslake has been diagnosed as not having much time to live

Blizzard of Ozz was also an album. I never said that it wasn't a band.

And mostly I meant was that Speak of the Devil came later.

But Bob and Lee are the only one's that I have heard say that it was a band. I have seen Ozz in pictures in'78-79 with a shirt that says Blizzard of Ozz. I shall post them and hope to the music forum [IMG]
    god's that I don't get in trouble.

“The Blizzard of Ozz band, as it was called at the time, flew to Ridge Farm Studio in Rusper, England to start recording the album with producer Chris Tsangarides. Max Norman was his engineer.“

So, a loudwire article lists BOO as a band. If you look at the pic I posted, it was obviously Ozzy's idea. There is nowhere official that labels it a band.
