Your top fail is full of masterpieces, like Sudden Impact, The Rookie (Clint is raped! The opening chase alone is worth the ticket), both Clyde movies are also completely awesome.

I would say his worst is:

    Paint Your Wagon
A Perfect World (this is where he starts to go Hollywood)
Space Cowboys (the last half is unwatchable, good first half)
    Hereafter
    J.Edgar
    American Sniper
    3:17 to Paris

That's not a lot over such a prolific career in front and behind the camera.

    Sudden Impact

I agree about City Heat. Was disappointed in that film.

So do I... I remember seeing 'Every Which Way But Loose' theatrically when it was a newer film...

'Cry Macho'? How about Cry Bastion from "Play Misty For Me"?

I find 'Sudden Impact' to be a better film than the final one of the Dirty Harry films, 'The Dead Pool'...

And 'Where Eagles Dare', while being a visually very good looking movie, the movie itself was quite boring to me...

I haven't seen most of the films people are mentioning here - guess I'm not missing much - but The Beguiled is a real cringefest.

Where Eagles Dare is just bloody awesome. You have scenes from the Matrix literaly copied from this one, like Clint hiding behind a wall that is torn apart, then turning and firing two machine guns at the same time.

I liked 'The Beguiled'. A gothic horror story in a way. Certainly the slimiest character Eastwood ever played.

Dead Pool was bad but I really loved the toy car chase scene. Sudden Impact felt too much like a downer to me.

I like that one as well...

It didn't fair as well as it should have at the box office, mainly because it wasn't the standard 'Clint Eastwood type' of movie...
