No “apparently” about it. Basil was not only the assistant choreographer, but she’s prominent in the above clip - that’s her passing on Miss Ross’s right at the 0:55 mark.

 

I watched Dave fairly regularly anyway, but would always try to catch Teri if possible. She's great.

In the mid-'80s, I was under the impression she was 10-15 years younger than she actually was. I was stunned to see her on an old episode of Star Trek, for instance.

 

She was great in "After Hours". As Julie, 'Miss Beehive'.

 

Sir may I suggest you've gone Garr Garr?

Boy, I just stumbled on this appearance she did in 1989 on Letterman, and not only does she
look stunning (and dare I say, hot) but she's really smart, witty and gives Letterman a hard time.
Gotta love it. It's long, but watch the whole thing.

 

HAD a major crush? Had?? I still think she's awesome.

 

I love Teri! I dated a girl who had worked with her on a project and got,to chat with her a bit at Little Shop of Horrors the play. She was very nice, sweet and approachable. Also a babe even if she was 13 years older than me!

Letterman 1985-1986, watching now and even as a Dave fan since the very first Late Night Feb. '82, his begging her to take a shower ! take a shower ! oh pleeeeeeeeze made my skin crawl.

35 years later, thankfully, this wouldn't be brought up in a planning meeting.

Teri Garr in Dumb and Dumber

 

The T.A.M.I. Show. I loved watching her dance in it. There's one part, I forget if it's Marvin Gaye or Smokey Robinson and The Miracles, but she's right up front during the song!
(more so than here with the Supremes even)
