    Final exam:

    What? And why?

Please be specific. Write all answers in your blue book, sign the honor pledge, and turn in your work no later than noon. Do not turn the page until I tell you to do so. And have a nice day.

This IS a groaner's thread. At the same time, it's a legit question. There was such a thing, I just don't remember the particulars.

My daddy always called premium gasoline "high-test." We always got the regular stuff for our Studebaker.

Speaking of testes, whatever became of the little balls that used to swirl around in the bubble on the gas pump? Don't little balls purify the high test?

  23. "Test. This is ony a test. If this were a real thread, you'd be instructed to bash one of the hi-rez formats, the Harvest surround mix, the work of Peter Mew, EMI, discuss the merits of the Beatles in mono, look forward to Steve's next mastering job, worry that any Beatles in 5.1 is going to get really screwed up and they'll forget the stereo and mono mixes, sing praises for Steve's Zombies SACD work and rightfully so, laugh at the new DSOTM artwork, and be generally in awe of the music muses that have visited us these past 80 years......but this is only a test. Go back to your families. Everything's fine."
