I just read about this band in the current (June) issue of MOJO. Formed in 1966 in St. Louis, Missouri. Leader Tom Hartman was a Beatle fanatic. They managed to snag a record deal with Parlophone and recorded an album Resurrection at Abbey Road studios in March 1969 (they even got to meet George Harrison and Mal Evans). Described in MOJO as "Beatlesque, beautifully produced string-laden pop with soaring melodies and sweet harmonies, it's one of the most wonderful pop albums of the late-60's". Unfortunately, Resurrection sat in EMI's vaults for 35 years only to surface last year as a boot. According to MOJO, it was finally released last month on RPM Records.

I *need* to check this out. Did anyone pick this one up? Whaddya think?

It's extremely rare. Those guys are pictured in the "Beatles Gear" book also. I know someone that has the original lp and come to think of it, he was supposed to tape it for me a long time ago. I'll have to send him an email.
