On imdb, wiki it lists 11 episodes for this final season., so 2 left.

Yeah. I believe the preview for next week's episode said "the last show (and I was thinking "huh?")...before the finale" (...wha? ahhh, I get it now).

Watching the walk thru the hills tonight, I kept thinking “just wait for a (predictable!) rattlesnake to appear”. Then I was actually enjoying the episode and forgot my thought. And then ... :faint:

Ha ha - exactly the same for me! Why is it obligatory for anyone hiking in the US to be...

    ...bitten by a rattlesnake?

Also - I wonder if the couple died in the Tesla?
Are Helen/Noah's kids going to see the burnt out car on the news and think the worst?

Odd way to go about getting Noah and Helen back together but very good acting by both . Only bad moment was the rattlesnake one, her response wasn't believable at first, "oh, no". :/
Nice touch to hear/ see Alison a bit. I missed a little of it as I went back to World Series. I was glad to hear it was acknowledged he loved Alison, not just an affair. Whitney is so tiresome but.. Helen is not some great mother , we have seen many examples of this.
Thought she was very cruel uninviting her father, especially after he helped her plan wedding. Is it realistic that there would be still so much resentment towards Noah?
It's not like he has a new family , happy life .. He's been a mess.
Anyway they should focus on the primary characters in finale but I'm not going to be surprised if we see a little of Sierra, Sasha, etc.

The first season, heck maybe even the first two seasons, were brilliant. But wow, has this show ever jumped the shark. At this point I'm just watching because I feel like I have to.

Did I miss something? Weren’t Noah & Helen in NYC when Helen got the alert re: the Calif fires and Whitney said she needed her birth certificate? Did they somehow get on a hypersonic time travel machine to get to LA?

Whitney was in New York where she visited Furkat when her flight back to L.A. was delayed. Noah and Helen were always in L.A.

They were in Whitney's apartment though and didn't they say she lived in NY?

Don’t Whitney and the fiance live in NY? I thought she never got on the flight to LA and everyone in LA was worried about her - which is when Helen, Noah et al teleported from LA to NYC (before doing the same same back to LA)? Do I have the whole bi-coastal thing all wrong?

She flew back to L.A., that’s where she met Noah’s former student who wrote the book that contained damaging accusations about Noah’s behavior.

    Oh yeah, forgot that.

But still, don’t Whitney and the fiance live in NY?

Ha and then it's like why do we care, so much of this has been incredibly stupid.
The way Whitney talks to her parents, the girl needs a smack.

Them "running away" from the fire and the subsequent rattlesnake was unintentionally comical to me.

I actually found myself instinctually hitting the >> button on the remote - something I almost never do with TV series and movies.

I did that during Helen’s part of the rock climbing down the cliff sequence. I had no patience for the “dramatic tension”.
