I was just sent that video from Apple in my personal email. (I'm only on a fan list I suppose, not media.)
Edit: I think I remember why they have my email. McCartney's people were looking for photos from his tours and I emailed that I had my original fan photos of one particular show, never published anywhere and better than a lot I've seen. They wrote back that they had enough of that show, which probably meant his own pro shot pics of that show.

I just noticed that the YouTube video is going clockwise whereas it's counter-clockwise on the website. Strange indeed.

 

My guess: The video is counting down 10 days until the release of Ringo's new book containing unseen photographs taken during his time with the Beatles. Scheduled release date of the book: September 21.

 

Then just sprinkle in random threadcraps complaining about how The Beatles are irrelevant compared to today's new music, they have many too many threads on this forum and detract from other subjects, that we're much too obsessive over them, etc.
Viola!!! You've got a sure-fire recipe for a successful thread that everyone will follow. Everybody's happy.

 

OK, but I do not know otherwise how that email address is on their list. I don't give that email out for email/promo lists.
