Probably because the price of 1 CD is considerably less than the price of 4 CDs... :tiphat:

But if you ready had the 4, why bother.

Because not everybody bought the 4 because... price.

[Not to mention the convenience of 1 disc vs. 4... I want to hear Yesterday, which disc is that on, again...?]

Sure great for very casual fans and newcomers, just saying a lot of people already had the other collections, if they didn't there would be more potential sales.

DAMN! It’s been out (again) how many weeks now? And yet, in terms of true “SALES”, it’s #4 this week. Amazing...

Like I said [or rather implied], all those Black Friday/Cyber Monday shoppers were probably thinking:

BTW, I was in Target yesterday looking for the new Who release [which was not on the shelves], and saw a [relatively] big display of Abbey Road.

Get with the times, retailers... [Abbey Road was so October...] :magoo:

Remixed vinyl was $15 on Black Friday and the days following.

I bought a copy. Damn it.

How many copies sold does that translate to? Any idea?

The amount sold may be remarkably low (say, 2000 copies), but it is still amazing that people keep purchasing it nonstop, year after year.

The previous week, AR sold 14.5k and had another 5.5k in SEA/TEA for roughly 20,000 units. It was #29 that week, also on Billboard.
"Who" (2019) - New Who Album Coming 06-Dec-19*

Note: Sales according to HDD - HDD always goes on vacation the final week of Dec, so we’ll have to guess for last week.

McCartney II because it has "Wonderful Christmastime" as a bonus track!! Otherwise, it would not be re-entering the charts.

Exactly...just like last year, which is still strange. It's only available on the 2-disc archive, Hear Music archive edition, and I don't even know how readily available that is anymore. Regardless, same with the Lennon htis comp, because it has "Happy Xmas".
