Mike McCartney's Early Liverpool Mike has released Early Liverpool containing many of these types of photos we are gushing over here. Mike really did have a good eye and some nice photography. Check out the related works towards the bottom of this link Astrid and Stuart photography collections too.
That`s a great new find! The photo looks so spontanious, like they are in a quick rehearsal before starting. Too bad that George has turned his back to us. According to Tune In this might be the first time he performs live with them. No Len Garry in sight, whose guitar stock Lewisohn speculated to be just seen on the rim of the other photo. Len Garry would soon be out of the band on the insistance of George.
Less common Lennon funfair image - love Lennons gaze...These photos will never get old, they are fixed in a moment of time, still fresh after 60 years - Astrid had such an amazing talent.
The mysterious Davy Jones. One of the few people who seemed to have dropped off the face of the Earth, and never gave any type of interviews (that I know about) concerning his days with the Beatles as his backing band.
Fancy a (Beatles) brew? by Mike McCartney, in front of Paul's house on Forthlin Road, Liverpool. 1962?
ahhh.the old trick.."guys..what a coincidence..your front wheel has no air...you can spend the night in our house"... ( Mildred .please....quick.... hide the needle)
Poster says Star Club but I have no idea who the others are. George and Paul left, John on the ground in crip mode.
So it's true!? They were tea users even in the early days! More flagrant tea abuse! Have they no shame? Who do I write a strongly worded letter of complaint to?
