I see many of the Beatles boxsets new on Ebay for incredibly low prices from US sellers with 100% feedback. I'm assuming these are bootlegs?

  2. If they are replicas of legit releases, they're termed "pirates". And you might run into a cheap legit one if you were very lucky. Very lucky.

    Yes, most likely counterfeits.

And they have 100% feedback because when someone figures out it's counterfeit the conversation goes something like:

Buyer: "The item you sold me is counterfeit."
Seller: "Oh, so sorry. I bought it believing it was genuine. Go ahead and keep it and I'll refund you and I will take down my other 9917 listings for counterfeit products that I didn't realize were counterfeits."

Buyer then thinks "oh, poor thing. S/he got taken. I won't leave negative feedback to warn anyone."

And the cycle continues with 100% feedback.

ALWAYS leave negative feedback for this kind of thing.

I wonder about things that are below market... a good MOFI set should cost you $700 plus!
