Looks stunning! Can't wait to see the finished film.

There is something about film from that time that seems to really pop with colour when remastered. Elvis' That's the Way It Is is another example.

I have not kept up with the discussion around the delay to this film but Peter Jackson's intro suggests that the reason is because the film is not finished rather than because Disney wanted to wait until cinemas are back open.

That film quality is unreal - like it was done yesterday. It's very strange, watching this.

On behalf of Derek and Robert and all his previous cameos, I hope he's passed the audition.

As I mentioned in the other thread, I’m not a fan of the excessive noise removal or the cropping, but who cares when it comes to new Beatles footage :)

A happy Let It Be film, just what the world needs right now. They even got George and Yoko to smile in the trailer.

Which makes sense; I think people being suspicious were using the US mindset of handling the coronavirus rather than NZ's "no, seriously, let's lock down" approach. Plus a) no filmmaker ever has turned down the opportunity to work more on a film, I'm sure, and b) of course Disney benefits if this thing hits actual cinemas.

Yeah, that’s brightened a dark December Monday morning quite nicely. Feeling the strain of tier 4 this weekend so that’s cheered me up, no end. John and Paul dancing together was a real treat and something I had never seen before.

The way that immediately filled my heart with warmth and glee, oh my.

I just realised, I don't think I've ever seen their whole bodies moving around in casual clothing (usually they were sitting down or had their lower bodies off camera, and the bootleg footage of them standing is really bad). It's weird -- they look tiny.

I jumped out my seat with joy at this. I don't care if its edited to look this way or not but man this makes me so happy to see some joy during what was described by George as "the Beatles winter of discontent"

    This is great!!!!!
