I wonder if Bill ever did any anonymous sideman jobs on records or worked under a pseudonym (for contractual reasons). That often happened in jazz sessions for other artists.
I saw the Bill Evans Trio perform live, for free, at a small outdoor amphitheater in the spring of 1975. Eddie Gomez was on bass, and made a strong impression on the audience, I don't remember if it was Marty Morell or Eliot Zigmund on drums.
I am surprised that more artists have not painted the middle-aged Bill Evans (we know he had no older age). This one is similar to another by the same artist.
