Awsome tune, always will be. Don't see the film, dooooontt! lol Pick up the cd and half price books, and you will be good to go.
I really like Now That I've Found You and/or Now That I've Found You: A Collection by Alison Krauss & Union Station. The title cut blows me away.
Yeah thanks Jerry, I've watched that on youtube a few times. My daugther got me Tony Trishcha's Collection of Fiddle Tunes for Banjo for christmas which has some Bill Keith arrangements in it and has been keeping me very busy
None to give, I just thought it was a cool picture to share. It was on my facebook feed from something called the Blugtass store. If I had to guess I'd say it's from the early to mid 90's. I've not seen a recording from that group so I'd guess they came together to play a gig? Edit: as I'm sure you already know, it is tony rice, Allyson krauss, JD Crowe, dr. Ralph, Ricky Skaggs and Jerry Douglass
One of my nephews who plays bluegrass posted a link on Facebook a song from a band called Dead South. Really fun video and cool song so I searched for their album Good Company and ordered it. I can't give any more or better a review until I receive it but you may want to seek out their video for In Hell I'll Be In Good Company. I just found another video for them on You Tube, House Of The Rising Sun, great fun.
POCO...pickin' and grinnin'. One of the first bluegrass/rock/country albums from 1968. Wonderful. There's just a little magic in the country music their singing... Enjoy...Rusty Young's dobro playing is righteous. Wow! Poco - Grand Junction Just In Case It Happens, Yes Indeed Poco- Just In Case It Happens, Yes Indeed
Great picture of Sam. Was it taken at the Fur Peace Ranch? Looks like it. Definitely one of my favorite concert venues! Seen so many great shows there over the years.
Bobby Osborne's first video. Featuring Rob Ickes, Claire Lynch, Sierra Hull, Trey Hensley, Stuart Duncan, producer Alison Brown, and the man himself. The pop-grass cover of the 1970s Bee Gees hit... A bit corny I admit but some very fine picking indeed.
Mandolin Cafe Classifieds - Santa Cruz Tony Rice 1993 If anyone is looking for a guitar, this is a good one
Already have one - but it's Indian not Brazilian rosewood, it's a 1996 instead of a 1993, and it didn't cost $30,000. See it here AND in the following post from 2013... http://forums.stevehoffman.tv/threa...tos-welcome-part2.296492/page-35#post-9349987
