That is absolutely fantastic. I have been wanting this on vinyl for so long! Wonder if the deluxe edition will be so deluxe that it costs what an original would have run me anyway...

 

Would love reissues of the Show and Paris vinyl as well.

 

Cool. That 3-CD set is gonna be fantastic. Hopefully, in addition to the Lost Wishes EP, they'll tack on some previously-unheard-by-mere-mortals outtakes.

...haven’t been that pleased with the past remasters sound. A tad loud for my listening. I usually pull out the original CD’s when I listen to The Cure.

Once upon a time way back when he tossed around the tease that he'd like the album done in 5.1. I've little hope that it'll happen as is the case with so many things Bob says, and that may have been my only reason for buying a deluxe of Wish.

I agree 100% but this will help knock the price down for the original LPs.

 

I hate the different packaging of all these deluxe sets. Originally they came in double digipaks with a clear slipcase, then just the double digipak with no slipcase, followed by 2CD jewelcases.

I have Three Imaginary Boys in the double digipak with outer sleeve, The Top & Pornography in the double digipak with no outer sleeve, Disintegration in the 3CD digipak with outer sleeve and Seventeen Seconds, Faith, The Head On The Door and Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me in the old fashioned 2CD jewel cases. It seems that Mixed Up and Wish will be released in cardboard digipaks. I hate the non uniformity of my Cure collection.

 

Hmm afaik they're all available in the double/triple digipak with outer printed slip. Maybe they are different in different countries?

 

Yeah all mine are the same but I did dispense with the generic outer plastic sleeves on the first few so they were all uniform.

I'm in the UK. Are you US? So if I ordered off Amazon.com I would be sent a digipak? Mine are as described; all UK-sourced, all deluxe 2 disc versions and mainly in jewel cases.
