I had been pretty supportive of this eBayer as he got flamed in a previous thread but this is very lame indeed. Can "stunning" be far behind? :shh:

This was the part that got me:

"It's simular to owning the rare Gold Record Album John Hiatt has displayed on his wall but in a 24 karat Gold CD version of your favorite artist."

Never mind that the guy can't spell...what a crock!

I'd like to see the "many MFSL Gold Cd's are currently selling for over $100.00". What a crock.

I can't stand his pictures...all glowing and stuff. I think insulting the bidder's intelligence is not the way to do business. I also think that REALISTIC pictures of the actual item are the way to go. This guy could do better if he made his listings a little more low-key.

Guys - But the "rare piece of musical history" comes with a display stand for your mantle. ;)

Next to the pictures of your family, you can have a John Hiatt CD, lol.

I'm happy to see that I'm not the only person who cringes when encountering one of this guy's auction listings. The "glowing" CDs have always bothered me, too. It just seems like the guy is going completely overboard to hype these CDs because he's charging so much for them. I bet this guy is not even a music collector at all. His ads are the internet equivalent of the old traveling tonic and elixir sales pitches... at least the ones in the movies.

You can be one of the last people on planet earth to own this 24 ct gold piece of audio history!!! Puh-leeze.

Own one of the last remaining sealed versions- of course they are if you bought all 1000 left- and sell OOOPS- I mean TRY to sell them one at a time!

This guy has been well-porked here before.

"Don't miss out on being one of the last people in the world to own this rare piece of musical history!"

"This listing also comes with a display stand ... It will simply blow you away ..."

    Oh, yeah, the price
