Right -- but that doesn't have the track listing (which according to Dolly is 10 tracks on the studio portion).
Hmmm. Did it again. It switches it to Amazon US. Go to Amazon UK and search it. It'll show up with the track listing with the bonus tracks and live CD track list.
"Here She Comes Again" Lookin' Better Than A Body Has A Right To........ [Dolly Parton 1977] Incredible personality, entertainer and musician. She literally has-it-all...........
... just wish she'd stop lip syncing in concert. Heard that on the latest tour she isn't using the big video screens. A guy who went to the show in Cincinnati said that there were parts that are definitely live and others that are obviously not. Plus I don't believe she plays the harmonica, piano or that flute-recorder thing. But I still love her. Hope to see her at the Ohio State Fair.
Here's the press releases from Masterworks, which indicates there are 2 bonus tracks on the first CD: Dolly Parton’s New Album Pure & Simple Available Worldwide August 19 | Dolly Reveals Album Cover and Tracklist - Masterworks Music »
She is a huge personality. I don't think everything she's done in her career is a masterpiece but she appeal to my overall. What a voice.
I didn't really like the fact that she wasn't actually playing the saxophone or the fiddle when I saw her in Philadelphia last month, but I still enjoyed the show. My favorite part was her performance of "Do I Ever Cross Your Mind".
Ironically, earlier this evening, Dolly's sister Stella was a guest/performer on the Joey Canyon show on RFD-TV network. Stella was promoting her new studio album "Mountain Songbird," which is a tribute to Dolly. 1. Mountain Songbird 2. In the Good Old Days 3. Jolene 4. Blackie Kentucky 5. Coat of Many Colors 6. Bargain Store 7. Steady as the Rain 8. Down from Dover 9. Just Because I'm a Woman 10. The Flame 11. Seeker 12. I Will Always Love You 13. More Power to Ya
Seems like she has a great sense of humor about herself, too, at least publicly. I always remember when she did a Top Ten list on Letterman about her top 10 pet peeves . . . number one was: "Nobody notices I've got a great ass, too!"
I'm loving the new album. It's not rocking my socks off, but it does deliver what it promises: it's pure and simple.
Not a big fan although I like a few of her songs such as 9 to 5 and Jolene But this one I Love - such a pretty song and Dolly's soft sweet vocal is perfect
