Touch Me, followed by Alabama Song. I'm led to believe I'm anti-purist on this one.

My favourite Doors’ songs to play on a jukebox are When the Music’s Over, The End and Light My Fire (LP version). Can anyone guess why?

Sunk many a quarter into them.

I don't think they would have dug his idiosyncratic rehearsal techniques

LOL. Yeah right. I've received complaints for selecting The End on a jukebox.

  6. Truly, he was a bit of spirit breaker, but they could have had a helluva second act for each, possibly.

I thought I had posted this in the controversial opinions threads, definitely my apologies to anyone thinking I tried to misdirect thread.

Riders on the Storm. Heard that on vinyl via Wilson Benesch Chimera loudspeakers one time, and they projected the best soundstage imaginable - the thunder and rain was literally above my head.

Love Me Two Times I have a sentimental connection to because Mtv used to.play it all the time when I was a teenager.
I think it was a recently discovered performance they had the rights to.
As far as the bigger hits go People are Strange I like a lot because it's used in The Lost Boys although they use a cover version so again a teenage memory.
So with no teen sentimentality attached I'll go with Love Her Madly.

I'm not a hardcore Doors fan, but I do listen to them fairly regularly. I'd say off the top of my head, Crystal Ship, or Soul Kitchen.

"Riders on the Storm", since it came out.

Many mentions of "The Crystal Ship"; that's a great contender, too.

It’s a cliché but I’d have to go for The End. I can clearly remember playing the 1st LP on my parents’ stereo in the early 80’s (it having been a ‘blind’ purchase’) and being amazed by the quality and diversity of the songs but then being absolutely stunned by the final track. I couldn’t believe what was coming out of the speakers and as soon as side 2 finished, I turned it over and played the whole album again. Twice. It’s something I’ll never forget. I went out the next day and bought ‘Weird Scenes Inside The Goldmine’ so I could hear some more and got the rest of the studio albums in a very short space of time.

After that, When The Music’s Over, Peace Frog, Roadhouse Blues, LA Woman, Hyacinth House, Tell All The People, You’re Lost Little Girl, Riders On The Storm and since the recent ‘Singles’ compilation, Wishful Sinful would be high on the list.

Crystal Ship / When The Musics Over / You're Lost Little Girl / Peace Frog / Roadhouse Blues (original album mix not the crap remix )
Choose one ? Maybe When The Musics Over because it's the longest.

I'll throw in my favorite Doors song from a movie. The End from Apocalypse Now.
