My favorite Dracula, Louis Jourdan as COUNT DRACULA for the BBC in 1977: SALEM'S LOT had some interesting characters "convert". Here's the late Geoffery Lewis: And just yesterday as I watched THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO MUCH, I finally made the connection to SALEM'S LOT as it was Reggie Nalder who played "Mr. Barlow".
When I was a sophomore in high school my English teacher was a horror novelist. He wanted us to read Stephen King's Pet Sematary, but the school said no. We read Dracula instead.
Loved the tv version of Salem’s Lot when I watched it as an 11 year old when it was first shown on U.K tv. Never read the book...must remedy that !
Pet Sematary is one of King's creepiest reads. It's right up there with It as a terrifying reading experience.
I keep meaning to track down a copy of The Annotated Dracula to sink my teeth into. Does anyone here have either the original (1975) or "new" (2008) edition?
