I am slowly working my way through the first three seasons and am pleasantly surprised how good the series is and how well cast it was. Looking forward to season 4.
Well I got to say that in the old days a season would start (say the fall) and run for 3 months or so. Then pick up again the next year. So you'd have a gap of 8-9 months between seasons. Now they drop the entire season at once (which I like) but with a lot of these shows you have to wait significantly over a year for the next season. In this case 1-1/2 years since we saw season 3. I think these shows can loose their mojo, this happenedd (at least for me) with Game of Thrones. So I'm hoping season 4 still has the mojo and that season 5 gets put out in a timely fashion. BTW, if they keep to the basic narrative of the books, both season 4 and 5 should be great.
I wish they'd put out a promo about Season 5. I'm tired of not being able to wait for Season 4... Or, is this their way of saying, "Okay, Season 4 is gonna suck, BUT WAIT-!"
Will they be dropping the entire season and will there be a cost? I bought the first three seasons impatiently waited for the weekly releases.
Not sure how close this will be to the novel but there will be some fun stuff I’m store if it has just a sliver,of the story.
I watched the first episode back when it was initially released and decided not to continue. A week ago or so I gave it another try and watched the first three episodes to get a true feel. I'm now starting season three, so yeah, I like it. Maybe four or five years ago I read a few of the books, but got a bit bored with the story at some point. If the series goes past what I read, I'll finish the book series. Because I read the books, I do have a few minor quibbles. Nothing that can't be justified.
High Castle, Mrs. Maisel and The Expanse, all within a couple weeks of each other. My wife's gonna be upstairs waiting for me to come watch Modern Family with her for quite some time...
