    Recorded 1975 at Bourbon Street, Toronto, Canada. Originally issued on a Horizon LP (through A&M). The current Verve edition was released in 2017 and packaged in cardboard gate-fold sleeve.
    Good album, great guitar style with very memorable double bass work.

    This CD edition was issued by Sony in their Jazz Connoisseur series. It was produced and prepared for release by Daniel Baumgarten and seems to reveal more with every listen.

    Tracks 1-15 were originally issued on the RCA Victor LP A GENUINE TONG FUNERAL (1967)
    with Gary Burton (vibes), Larry Coryell (guitar),Steve Swallow (bass), Lonesome Dragon (drums), Mike Mantler (trumpet), Jimmy Knepper (trombone & bass trombone), Howard Johnson (tuba & baritone sax), Steve Lacy (soprano saxophone), Leandron "Gato" Barbieri (tenor sax), Carla Bley (piano, organ, conductor)

    Tracks 16-20 are 'bonus' tracks and were all originally issued on side 1 of the 1967 RCA LP

    She didn't record an awful lot. I've heard two albums billed as "Barbara Donald and Unity" on Cadence Records: "Olympia Alive" and "Past and Tomorrows." If you like her playing, these LPs will please.
