These were issued as they were a part of the Pye Nixa / Jazz Today series. That's why it has the UK cover.
The other Vocalion modern jazz CDs licensed from Decca sound good and are worth seeking out.
I do not hear the distortion on this CD issue although I don't doubt that it's there.

LEE MORGAN THE COMPLETE LIVE AT THE LIGHTHOUSE (Blue Note) 8CD Box

    Drums –
Mickey Roker / Jack DeJohnette (2 tracks only)
    Electric Bass [Ampeg Bass] –
Jymie Merritt / Piano – Harold Mabern
Tenor Saxophone, Flute & Bass Clarinet – Bennie Maupin
    Trumpet, Flugelhorn – Lee Morgan

Recorded live on July 10, 11 and 12, 1970 at The Lighthouse, Hermosa Beach, California.

Eight CD set with 4 x two CDs sleeved in seperate gatefold cardboard covers. There is also a 66-page full colour illustrated book with liner notes included.

Over the past week I have been listening to a disc a day from this terrific box set and the very high standard is maintained throughout. Now onto disc 8 and that further confirms what a remarkable release this is.
