The Kinks - Arthur deluxe boxset - October 25, 2019

I haven't, and don't think there is, but why not just use Amazon US? If you have Prime you will have it in a day or two depending where you are and if indeed Amazon has it in stock on day one. Or, where will you be? Just go to a shop and buy it lol.

I’m in the US. Mine is coming from Canada. I order quite a bit from Amazon.ca; no fees. I preordered the Abbey Road Box and received it on the Tuesday following the Friday release date - quick delivery via DHL.

I like Canada. It’s very cold there, eh? That’s good; I like cold.

 

Because I have the much cheaper preorder from Amazon Canada locked in. I wouldn’t do it otherwise, but £40 shipped vs £77 shipped isn’t really a debate.

 

No kidding, why would you pay more. I have it locked in as well with free shipping since I reside in "very cold" Canada

It’s okay, it wasn’t up for too long.

I’ll speak with the guy we’re staying with in Nashville, as we’re there until the 1st Nov, so it should get there before we leave for New York.

 

Yes I bought the cheap Abbey Road deluxe from Canada. I live in Seattle and it arrived about five days after release date.
No import fees. Arrived DHL.

 

I just received the Abbey Road set from amazon.ca, and I'm in the US - it was delivered via DHL and arrived within days of shipment with no added fees. Just my experience, and only one order, but this one was great.

I ordered from Amazon Canada as well, with the lower price locked in. My order is still shown, but the item page still says "Currently Unavailable" instead of "Preorder".

I won’t panic until Wednesday evening.

I preordered from the official store, and they did something really odd, they charged my credit card BEFORE it shipped! Is this a new standard? Seems odd. I went with the official store because I couldn’t wait (or gamble, it seems) with Amazon...in any country.

@John Fell @Dave Hoos @tonewheeltom because of the credit card mishap, my mom DID find out about it! Oh, the indignity! (Dave should know where that last line came from)

 

I know if you use Paypal they charge before they ship. Are you sure it is not a pre-authorization to make sure your card will process and you have a high enough credit limit? Pre-authorizations can show up on your online banking as pending charges.

 

They definitely charged. I had to get a refund to cancel my order. Kinda worried about the amazon.ca order now though...

 

I ordered from official store too, which I never do but I wanted the single. Not sure if they charged me I can't remember will go look.

I prefer getting charged when order. Unless it is Amazon.
