yes Unga Astrid (Becoming Astrid) is a very good biography/drama movie, very heartfelt story. And yes the actress Alba August that played her is great, and so are other actors in the movie. I was not familiar with life of this writer prior to watching this movie and enjoyed it a lot.
oh and the song "Springa" (by Ane Brun) in the end credits is also very good

    Illicit by Archie Mayo.

A fantastic pre-code Hollywood movie all about marriage ties with a young and fabulous Barbara Stanwick.

I know I'm in the minority but that's easily my favorite of the three.

Earlier this evening I saw a movie with Keanu Reeves called Bill & Ted Face The Music from 2020. I really love Reeves, he is a great actor! And I thought this would be a good movie since he was in it. But so disappointed I was. It was worse then dogshiit! Just messy and boring. And it was a movie about music, but it was terrible music in it. And "Jimi Hendrix" was in the movie, but did not even had the sound as Hendrix when he played in the movie. I mean at least copy from a record or something...

I never thought Reeves would be in a low quality movie like this....

    Paris When It Sizzles (1964).
    I love Audrey Hepburn.
This was a lot of fun.
A very unusual/unique movie, and I think pretty brilliant in its own way.

'Pusher' (1996) on Mubi. Very good debut feature from Nicholas Winding Refn, though too bleak and brutal for me to really enjoy rather than just appreciate.

Wow...this was seriously stupid, although it had some good chase scenes. On the plus side, I will no longer blare my horn at a driver who does something I don't like.

    The Father.

A device was used to push the film along and it worked to great affect.

Anthony Hopkins should get the Oscar for best actor but will most likely go to Chad Bozeman.

Patriots Day (2018) - Enough time has gone by now that I felt I could watch this without getting upset. Better than I expected it to be, and I was very impressed with Jimmy O. Yang, who until now I had only known as the very funny Jian-Yang character on Silicon Valley!

The Debt Collector (2018) on Netflix. Enjoyable action B-movie, The two leads (Scott Adkins and Louis Mandylor) had great chemistry and gave really good performances. There is a sequel that has pretty good reviews (better than this one). I will be watching that soon.
