Neat little comedy horror, The Selling, from 2011 or so on Prime earlier. Low budget, but good cast, some legit comedy lines, especially in the end credits, and some decent thrills n chills to boot. Well recommended.

The Sparks Brothers HBO Max doc about the Sparks band. I knew of them, but never bought any of their output. I always thought they were a bit to quirky for my taste although I bought 10cc, Cars, Bowie, Iggy, and some others close to that territory. It was interesting to hear about their story, however, and there were short interviews with others within the industry.

Not as good, but very worthwhile. I had to acquire it through . . . "suspect means"

Watched Bohemian Rhapsody the film on Queen for the first time. Well, I loved Sammy Malek in Mr. Robot, but he wasn't the right choice to play the likes of Freddie Mercury; yes, some facial features were ok, but overall they could have chosen another actor.
The director depicted Freddie in the late 1980s as being arrogant, self-centred and snobbish, but I don't think he was really like that. Anyway, an overall good movie and well-directed.

India Sweets and Spices (2021) - This was okay, but didn’t quite do it for me. There were many gorgeous saris though!

House of Gucci (2021) - Loved it. Lady Gaga steals the show here, although the whole cast deliver great performances. I heartily recommend this one.

Watched it on TV, but I had previously seen it when it came out at the cinema. The storyline is good and well-directed. There are enuff scream queens in it for my liking.
