I really enjoyed that one!
netflix: Velvet Buzzsaw...nope.
Red Sparrow: me too! I had no idea what this was about going into it...enjoyed it much.
on my Netflix to watch list...
who doesn't love this! LOL...
I have the DVD... I'll bet the BD blows it away...not sure if the DVD was even anamorphic? haven't watched it in years...I may have to upgrade!
the cast looks great..what's wrong with it?
The Girl On The Train - It was okay - The Book was much better.
What Happened to Monday
Alita: Battle Angel.
Thoroughly entertained. It's going to be a buy for Bluray, methinks - and hope a sequel will be planned too.
Must be Jennifer Lawrence‘s best film.
Bohemian Rhapsody. I'm at a loss for words. What a great movie ! The wife and I were very moved.
I had no idea either. After buying the DVD of "Georgy Girl" & watching it, I recognized Charlotte Rampling's name in the credits & was pleasantly surprised how good she was back then (1966). I think I'm gonna check into her other films too.
yes, a sexy lady...it's those eyes!
...she was great in Farewell My Lovely with Robert Mitchum...
my wife loved this! I enjoyed it with her...Indeed.
Red Dog True Blue (2016) The original Red Dog movie was supposed to be propaganda for the mining industry (the government at the time was trying to implement a new tax) but it went ballistic so a prequel was demanded and it's one of the craziest Australian films ever. It can't decide if it's a kids' film, an adult comedy (the dog eats the sexy girls underwear) or magic realism. Just when I'm convinced the film's about a lonely boys who's mother goes crazy and is sent to live with his grandfather (Bryan Brown, from Cocktail) in the outback there's a scene straight out of Tarantino where John Jarrett (from Wolf Creek) playing mining billionaire Lang Hancock flies in and does a banjo duet with the grandfather. Not convinced of it's weirdness? Well there's a couple of variations of A Whiter Shade of Pale on the soundtrack for no apparent reason, a one eyed horse and an Aboriginal curse. The opening credits are set to Friday on my Mind so some brains went into it.
Polar (2019) - IMDb
We got Mission Impossible - Fallout on BR for xmas and finally got around to watching it last night.
Okay movie but I I'm getting a bit tired of these action type movie's, they don't seem to captivate me like they did once.
Aterrados (Terrified) seen on Netflix.
An Argentinian chiller wibth some genuinly scary scenes. It starts very well, piling onthe shocks but unfortunately towards the end it begins to drag and not go far enough through the plot. Maybe a sequel will help.
Boy Erased (2018)
A great , sharp looking and tense thriller .
I read somewhere that Nicole Kidman broke 2 ribs filming that one. She and Ewan McGregor both did their own singing.
Leo Dicaprio wanted to play Christian but he couldn't sing. Ozzy Osbourne's part is so small you barely notice it.
Kylie Minogue played the Green Fairy.
Superfly. The original Dude with a plan to stick it to the Man.
