    OK, I've been a fan of him for years! he looked just like a friend of the family when I was growing up...I have a nice DVD box set of his TV show...

    Yes, he was good. The two females in that film were both beautiful: Helen Walker and Ella Raines. Didn't realise Ella was also in Phantom Lady; which I have seen. Since it was '49, the cars were huge :)

    Trashed by the critics,and has some flaws , but i liked it very much.

    THE GREEN GIRL - Documentary about actress Susan Oliver. Really interesting. Amazing to see how much she worked in TV in the
    60s/70s, and sad to see that she never seemed to achieve the heights she reached for (in her mind, at least).

    Last Days Here on Showtime last night. A documentary about Bobby Liebling, lead singer/writer for an obscure 70s metal band, Pentagram, of whom I knew next to nothing. An intensely visceral, personal, no holds barred, look at his recent life, such as it was/is.

    There are so many reasons to not like Battleship. Damned if they work tho, lol. I've seen it 3 or 4 times and each time I'm aghast at the absurdity of various scenes, yet I keep coming back.
