Just started not-quite-bonding with The Boys on Amazon Prime last night, having failed to get into my neighbor's Netflix account to finish that ep of Jessica Jones I'm trying to catch up on. Just wrapped what (was going to be) the final season of The 100 on CW...apparently they have more book sources to stretch this epic out, until they can figure out a way to shoehorn Sam and Dean into it, and turn it into Supernatural, the Series That Will Not Die No Matter How Many Times They Ended It. Just before leaving for the Beach earlier, I ran the first Season 3 ep of Stranger Things past my wife who, not a Goonies fan, totally doesn't get it.
It's kinda along the lines of Breaking Bad, dark, well done story with gangsters, money, "jobs", along with interesting stories about interesting people.
Seconded for Jett. To be fair I could watch Carla Gugino read my grocery list, but this show is much more than just her-it's a bonafide first-rate crime thriller with lots of great actors, including the always great Giancarlo Esposito. So it would figure that with all of the edgy shows I watch, like Euphoria and Handmaid's Tale, I need a break. And I went all the way back to the 60's for this one-F Troop! "Agarn, I don't know why everyone says you're so dumb!"...and then in the next scene..."Who says I'm dumb?!!" This is about as silly as 60's comedies get, but it brings back great memories for me. Next up...I Dream Of Jeannie!
to be fair I could watch Carla Gugino read my grocery list. in a bikini preferably! she was/is smokin hot!
Dancing Brasil, the Brazilian franchise of Dancing With The Stars although currently I can only watch the truncated episodes on YouTube.
