Will look for that. Meanwhile, I just finished the series finale of The 100, a CW series loosely based on a string of YA science fiction novels, about the last survivors of the human race. For a show based on that network, I found it highly-intellectual in its' treatment of how the survivors gravitate and change into tribes, their final challenges with technology and AI, and how each season opens their world into increasingly-complex and maturing experiences that make them re-think their old motivations. The lead character never truly changes, but undergoes a crapload of trials and riveting challenges as de facto leader, that truly justifies her existence (and the prices she pays for it). The continuity spans more time than humans would normally have at their fingertips. Admittedly, more lives and resurrections per character than a whole GameStop store full of cartridges. Binge-ers willing to find an unexpectedly well-run sci-fi series with a lot of barbarism running through it (as well as a "CW-pretty" cast, dressed mostly for battle), will find 7 seasons streaming on Netflix in the US.
Currently my favorite show! I watch one a day. I admit it’s dumbed down in places to make it easier to follow, but the computer graphics are great and they explain and illustrate the technical stuff pretty well.
The Head (season 1) . WTF happened to the winter crew in an experimental pod in Antartica? The horror!!
Just finished all four seasons of Mr. Robot. Last couple episodes were...complicated, but I think, I get it. Thumbs up, but an awful lot of violence for a show about a computer hacker, including a surprising number of suicides.
Nah, this is a Spanish horror show, mainly in English, that's so aware of itself the cast is watching John Carpenter's The Thing in episode one.
Spanish but in English In the middle of the winter, a small group of scientists in charge of an international base in the Antartica during the long polar nights stops communicating with the outside world.
