Dave's World Season 3, Episode 1 - "Cleanliness Is Next To Nakedness" Dave's World is an American sitcom television series created by Fred Barron, that aired on CBS from September 20, 1993 to June 20, 1997. The series is based on the writing of Miami Herald columnist Dave Barry. Cast: Harry Anderson, Delane Matthews, Shadoe Stevens, Meshach Taylor, Patrick Warburton, J.C. Wendel
The Bureau (season 4 2018) JJA (the big boss who trained Malotru) calls an 'enquiry' into the DGSE (which means the whole bureau has to resign before they're sacked). Meanwhile Malotru is in Moscow doing manual labour while the Russian secret service looks on. Jonas (the fat guy with the glasses from season 3) goes to Syria to look for a legendary ISIS agent (this version of Syria is totally surreal, like El Topo or The Holy Mountain). More Pop cult references and authodox situations than before but the last three episodes all deserve a thesis written on them. At the end of episode 8 I was screaming at the TV, at the beginning of 9 I was sobbing. Where most spy shows end this series begins. Spoiler when Malotru and Jonas were in the same scene I was like that guy when he saw Chewbacca in the trailer for the Star Wars sequels. That's how invested I am
Yellowstone (Blu-Ray)... Finished season 1 and just started season 2. Season 3 comes out on Dec 8th, on order. A "Bonanza" meets "Dallas" in the 21st century show.
I watched “Tinker, Tailer...” and started “Smiley’s People”. The best ones with Sir Alec Guinness, et al , produced by BBC and Paramount and aired on pbs back in the day.
Adult Material (2020) A porn star thinks she's in control but a series of events proves her wrong. Starts off OTT funny but soon gets depressing.
Psych - Season 2, Episode "Bounty Hunters!" "When an accused murderer/burglar (W. Earl Brown) escapes custody on Juliet's watch, Shawn and Gus enter the case to track him down, only to realize that he is not guilty of murder. Meanwhile, a childhood-idol bounty hunter (Kevin Sorbo) from Shawn's and Gus' youth complicates matters further."
I binged this a couple of nights ago. I agree the ending it pretty lame. I did find Nicole Kidman's post-'work' face distracting though, I must be honest. I've always thought she is beautiful and still do but she just looks 'wrong' somehow now She looks like she's on the first rung of a ladder that ends up with Jocelyn Wildenstein. Pretty sure they used de-aging techniques on her too in some shots. Her call, of course, but I don't get why someone as graceful and stunning as that feels the need to go under the knife.
Binging all 9 seasons of King of Queens....almost to season 9. Before that I did Two and a Half Men had to bail on the Kutcher years lol.
Last night - The Undoing, last episode. No spoilers: I thought it was well-written & acted & had me engaged throughout. Best part: I had one idea in mind from the outset & depending which episode it was, my mind would question that choice & land on any of the other characters, so that's a good mystery, to me. Leaving it at that, for any others who may have missed it & want to catch it.
The Wilds. Amazon’s new series. I loved this show and binged it in 2 days. Without giving anything away it’s very comparable to Lost, Lord Of The Flies with girls, and HBO’s Euphoria.
The Bureau (season 5) (2020) Saying anything about this season is impossible without spoilers so ... there's more graphic sex than any previous season and episode 7 is like fan fiction inasmuch as all the stuff I'd fantasised about actually happened. Slightly less amazing than the previous seasons but so far ahead of the competition it's embarrassing.
