I'm just finishing up the series Rectify on Netflix (two episodes to go) and it's great. Slow-moving but beautifully acted and written. One of the best things about it is not recognizing any of the actors, other than Hal Holbrook for a couple of minutes in the first season. They're all new to me and incredibly impressive.
I'm watching them on Blu-rays now. The DVD set is very good-looking too The Blu-rays are considered "demo quality" they're so outstanding (except the few episodes filmed on video in season two).
Just finished Tehran on Apple TV+. Anyone else watch this? Really great spy series. I thought it was very well done and had a compelling story line. Equal parts political and personal. Recommended!
binge watched season 2 of Blown Away on Netflix. glass blowing competition show with some extremely talented people. amazing skills. season one was good also.
That's great news. I'm going to hate waiting for Season 2, but at least it'll get here at some point.
Two great Twilight Zone episodes: A Hundred Yards Over The Rim: I've always loved that one. And one I've watched less, that is perfect for our dystopian world: The Obsolete Man. (and the connectivity gave out on me now before I could post the last two photos I now see. Nice it saved my text and photos above...pain in the ....)
I have both and IMO the DVD suck compared to the BDs! Incredible difference. I was very disappointed after spending so much on the DVDs before the BD came out...I have a lot of coin invested in the Twilight Zone!
"Engrenages (Spiral)" - series 8 "The Investigation" - Danish drama based on the true story of the murder of journalist Kim Wall on a home made submarine in 2017. Very sad story, but excellent drama.
I've started watching Game of Thrones. It took me three episodes to get completely sucked in to it. Winter is coming!!
Holy **** was Nelson young there ^^^... Looked almost as he did in Poltergeist, and then looked significantly older in The Proposal...
