Monty Python's Flying Circus (How to Recognise Different Parts of the Body) Incredibly funny episode. The philosophy department of the University of Woolomoloo , The death of Mary Queen of Scots, The penguin on the telly. Choc-o-bloc full of classics.

I caught an episode of Hee Haw on Circle TV today. Man, the corn really is as high as an elephant's eye!

The Sopranos (season 4) Tony is hiding money as the recession hits organised crime.
    Ken Burns' Hemingway.
Monty Python (Scott of the Antarctic) Half the show is a send up of French New Wave cinema and Gung Ho British adventure films which starts off ho hum but gets funnier as it gets sillier. The Fish Licence and the Long John Silver impersonators are the highlights. Best line: The looney detector van more likely.

Read some good reviews about this series and contemplating buying the Boxset . How do you rate it along side series such as The Sopranos, The Wire & Breaking Bad ?
Is it the same league ?
    Thanks

I bought S1 because of the raving reviews but gave up after 2 episodes. And I love the three shows that you mentioned! So no, not in the same league at all, IMO. It felt like ordinary TV to me.

I very much enjoyed this series. Great acting from Timothy Olyphant, Walton Goggins, Margo Martindale and a host of others with equally intriguing and involving writing. Enjoy!

Thanks, I will check that out. Seems like Showtime has (or at least had) a ton of good shows.

The story seems quite good, and I really enjoy Kevin Bacon's acting...Saw "Cop Car" a few days ago, very good movie IMO.

It's less intense than Breaking Bad. For me, that is a good thing. Still, Justified isn't at all boring or lacking in intensity. Haven't seen the other shows.

The things that Justified has for me is likeable (in some ways), relatable characters; 3 gorgeous main female actors; great humor; clever writing and one of the greatest (IMO) actors working today, Walton Goggins:

Endurance of Boyd on 'Justified' is a credit to actor Walton Goggins
