Why Women Kill Dark Comedy Episode #5 - "There's No Crying in Murder" (Hahah...even the titles are cheeky parodies...this being "There's No Crying In Baseball"/ film: A League Of Their Own) Episode #6 - "Practically Lethal in Every Way" Good bit of fun - Laughing more than I anticipated, though w/in each episode there's also the dark element of dark comedy, too, therein serious subject matters, but not dealt with in a particularly heavy-handed manner. Very cleverly balanced, as well as how each scene seques into the next among the 3 different time periods, too. Nicely done narrative voice-over @ opening & closing of each episode. I didn't view a whole lot of Desperate Housewives - from what I do recall of it, it's easy to see how this comes from the mind of the same creator, Mark Cherry.

Curb Your Enthusiasm Episode #1: Mel's Offer - "Mel Brooks sees Larry performing some karaoke at a bar one night and is quickly impressed with his singing abilities. He then invites Larry to audition to star in a Broadway production of "The Producers". But the deal quickly goes south once Mel hits Larry in the head and Larry's doctor drools on him." Episode #2: Ben's Birthday Party - "Mel Brooks taps Ben Stiller to be Larry's co-star in The Producers. But when Larry accidentally punches Ben Stiller in the eye during a birthday party game gone wrong, Ben drops out of the production."
Traces. A girl goes to her childhood home in Dundee to study forensics and discovers the 'fictitious' case they're learning from is her murdered mother. Strangely for a BBC drama it actually gets better as it goes along.
Started Condor from Epix. Based on Redford film 3 Days... Modernized the reason he's on the run. William Hurt as his handler. Fantastic as usual from him. Highly recommended
no it's the old chappelle show ... before he took his break ..... the freebee streaming promo is up here in canada for 'cravetv' (hbo, showtime, etc)
Oddly I've been revisiting Homeland. Weird politics in 2021, but also very timely given recent events.
Finished White Lotus and next up on the DVR was 100 Foot Wave, both absolutely brilliant. All I need now is Curb Your Enthusiasm to start the new season.
I have been watching an episode or two before bed of the following shows Trailer Park Boys F Is For Family Bob's Burgers I haven't gotten into a series for a while but plan to start watching Mad Men soon since I've never seen it.
Marvelous Mrs Maisel (season 2 episode 2, Midway to Midtown) Here's where it all comes together. Before this it was great writing and great characters but this is where it succeeds on it's own level, only referencing previous episodes. Belly laughs from start to finish.
Technically, it's a video podcast. I've watched all three seasons of this series at least 3 times. Can't get enough of it.
