Taking a break from Stargate SG-1 and China Beach.... Started on Jericho (2006), season 1 episode 18 will finish it up today due to only goes to season 2 episode 7 Jericho (2006 TV series) - Wikipedia
Great show, excellent acting especially the two main characters. Paul and Damian both give award winning performances in my book.
Mr. Mercedes (season three) Too influenced by Fargo (stupid criminals getting violent and causing themselves more trouble than they were in in the first place)but still pretty watchable. Bruce Dern makes it even more so.
Just finished watched the first 2 episodes of the second season of The Morning Show. This is one fantastic series. The acting is among the best I have seen on any series. Every actor has been terrific. The writing is intelligent and witty. Really enjoying this series. I already knew Reece Witherspoon was a primary talent. Jennifer Aniston-who I have enjoyed in various films (I was not much of a fan of her series Friends) but thought of as a light talent, has been a revelation. She is smashing in this series. Every actor and every character has been wonderful.
I've been re-watching the "Long Way Round/Down/Up" trilogy that documents Ewan McGregor and his mate Charley Boorman's epic transcontinental motorcycle trips. Besides the great scenery, the pair and their team get through some tough spots, especially in Mongolia and eastern Russia. They also stop along the way to show their support of local UNICEF efforts.
Royal Pains Comedy-Drama Season 6, Episode 1: "Team Evan is delighted with Hank's return, however short, to attend. Divya's grand party to present her newborn, which mystery girl Emma Miller crashes for unsuspected reasons. Boris firmly reminds unwilling Hank of his obligations to accompany him to Europe on a top-secret mission."
Homeland. I'm currently watching the final series 8. I've been through the whole series a few times now. Great show, I was very disappointed when it came to an end.
As much criticism as it took over it middle 3 or 4 seasons (lots of it justified), I thought the final season and the one before were pretty, pretty, pretty, good
Dexter's new season premiere. FWIW, I disagree with the accolades it's been receiving from viewers. It was OK but very predictable. Glad it's back but the storyline needs to strengthen, a lot IMHO.
This. I binged watched all five episodes on i>Player I thought it was excellent Celine Buckens' portrail of her character reminded me of that of Martha Vickers' as Carmen in the film noir, The Big Sleep. I also binged watched the three episodes of this on the ITV hub. it was Ok but I wan't overly impressed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llUeEuGKg0I
Maybe it did get a bit too 'soapy' at times (and I'm assuming that's the criticism it received?), because I watch the series in blocks of 3 or 4 episodes per evening, I wasn't too aware of it. I can watch a series in 3 or 4 days and so it kept my attention at all times.
Orange Is The New Black I've just recently subscribed to NETFLIX and I've been binging on a number of classic shows- Squid Game, Better Call Saul, Money Heist, Designated Survivor, The Shooter are just a few so far. I've just watched episodes 1& 2 of OITNB Season 6. A terrific show, sharp writing, direction and a fantastic cast.
