The Twilight Zone - The Fugitive Starring Susan Gordon and J. Pat O'Malley. Beautiful episode. Also with Nancy Kulp as a real bi***. And Stephen Talbot, the kid who played Gilbert on Leave It To Beaver.
The Addams Family on PlutoTV Antiques Road Trip on PlutoTV Young Sheldon on HBO Max A Haunting (season 11) on Discovery+
Ive been out for two weeks with symptoms and aftermath of Omicron and so Ive been binge watching Barney Miller on Roku.
Breaking Bad (season 2) If you know what's going on with the pre titles scenes you get a lot more out of this season. Skyler is a horrible wife and Walter Jr is a horrible son. Skyler's sister is barking mad but I really like her. I'd shoplift and tell lies if I were in her possession too.
The Honeymooners - "The $99,000 Answer" (classic); "The Safety Award," "Mind Your Own Business," and "Alice And The Blonde." God I hadn't seen the Honeymooners in so long. Love them. I need to watch more of them, and esp. the Lost Episodes (which I don't know as well, but I've forgotten a lot of the "Classic 39" as well - though not the $99,000 Answer) I love Audrey Meadows. But Norton, I was such a fan of Norton when I was a kid. The whole cast was brilliant.
Royal Pains - Season 6 (Orig. brodcast: USA network) Episode 10 "Good Air, Bad Air" "Divya and Sachi go with Hank and Boris to Argentina to visit Sachi's grandmother. Evan is angry over a compromising photo of Hank. Jeremiah tries to patch things up with Viviana. Paige helps Ray decorate and helps Russell make amends."
This past night now: The Honeymooners - Funny Money (great one) The Jackie Gleason Show (The Honeymooners) - Letter To The Boss (*this was remade later as a Flintstones episode, with some changes obviously, but...) Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C - The Case Of The Marine Bandit (with guest star Ellen Corby) (aborted attempts made at: The Phil Silvers Show - The Eating Contest [with Fred Gwynne, later of the Munsters] , The Flintstones - The Rock Quarry Story, and The Honeymooners - The Sleepwalker) All fine but The Honeymooners is the best to me lately.
I first saw Ricky Gervais on a show on ITV in the UK getting on for 30 years ago. It was on a Friday night and was called the 11 O'Clock Show. I'd love to see it again as I never really liked his character on the show at the time but wonder if I've judged that harshly. Fast forward a few years and he's doing The Office and we got a hint of where his heart was at; the ending where he meets the girl gives the audience the ending they wanted. Derek comes next - a show I've yet to see but which gets great reviews. And now, I've binged AfterLife. Along with The Detectorists, but better at the same time, this is a series that will embrace your heart and make you believe in the warmth of the human condition. I'm glad I saw this, glad I watched it and touched by the faith in the characters and in the human condition that Ricky Gervais has shown. Beautiful TV.
Yes! I seen that as well. He seemed to be interviewing and running down guests. Didn’t find it funny. Aside…Mind you didn’t like 1990s Never Mind The Bollocks either.
