    Whilst there have been a few threads about this ground-breaking comedy before,I'm interested to know what our American forum members made of it?
    It's always intrigued me how we react to T.V shows from abroad,especially comedies.Even more so when it's difficult to think of equivalent reference points from shows in our own country.
    I'm pretty sure the U.S had nothing comparable to this.So what did you make of it.Loved it?Didn't get it?Confused?
    For me it was the most original comedy of the last 20 years.Beyond dark,grotesquely hilarious,and very very British.
    Love to hear what you yanks think.But anyone can join in.

    The last brilliant British comedy for me (though The IT Crowd had its moments).
    (Sorry I'm not American but just had to get that in there).
